Frequently Asked Questions
The main differences between a bilingual school and a British school are based on the academic model they perform.
The academic model that bilingual schools follow is based on the Spanish curriculum, but with a percentage hours taught in English, which is usually 50%. In which there are subjects that must be compulsory taught in Spanish, but other subjects must be taught from the beginning in English, and for the rest of subjects, it is the school that chooses which subject will be given in English and which will be given in Spanish.
Instead, the British academic model is based on what is implemented by the English National Curriculum, which turns out to be more detailed and specific, in addition to the subjects of the Spanish study plan, In this way, the automatic homologation of the studies is achieved. Being a British school, unlike bilingual, 90% of the day is taught in English and the rest in Spanish.
